The whole ‘A grade’ thing is a bit hard to judge overall, given everyone has different opinions on what defines an A grade talentWhat more does Rory Laird need to do for this board to acknowledge he's an A grader?
I’d have him there, though

Coopers likes thisPedlars left foot is sexual.
The only thing I used to question was his loopy kick on occasions but that's almost a thing of the past....kicking plenty of low darts especially this season. The whole ‘A grade’ thing is a bit hard to judge overall, given everyone has different opinions on what defines an A grade talent

Might be more of the A- than absolute elite but he's better than a solid b grader comfortably. What more does Rory Laird need to do for this board to acknowledge he's an A grader?
What ever he is he’s perennially underrated by his own supportersMight be more of the A- than absolute elite but he's better than a solid b grader comfortably.
Crowd got into it on the back of a patch of diabolical umpiring, making subsequent goals extra satisfying and were celebrated accordingly.
Good atmosphere for a small crowd.
Oh yeah most people I know go for Victorian teams and guess what? They all rate him very highly, as do I. When I say maybe an A- type it's not disrespect I'm just saying A to A+ are those game breaker kinds more. Laird probably lacks a little bit of that damage factor at times but he's a damn fine player & definitely some on here under rate him badly. We've been extremely fortunate to have him through this rebuild or it would have been even tougher. Laird & Tex carried us to more wins than we'd have otherwise achieved. What ever he is he’s perennially underrated by his own supporters
He’s a proper pro

I agree with this, until this year .....Crowds in MELB however have really bounced back.Footy crowds havent been the same since Covid..
Covid forced everyone to get a Kayo subscription and watch from home.. as there were no crowds allowed.
Alot of these supporters havent returned to the “live at the ground” experience.. they realised that they can watch live (with no telecast delays) in the comfort of their own homes with their own supply of beer, food etc.. and not get robbed blind.. and not have to fight traffic on roads and crowds on public transport.
But surely using that “older supporters are more likely to” logic then the older supporter is gonna be less technologically adaptive.. and thus would not have gotten kayo during covid and just watched on free to air (live or delayed).. then gone back to attending the footy live at the ground when covid restrictions were lifted..Crowds have returned to games in Melbourne largely, and Port crowds are strong post Covid.
It seems to be something that has affected the Crows more than other clubs.
I would be fascinated to see the average age of club membership, as I believe the Crows members would be the oldest in competition (along with Melbourne for MCC reasons!).
Older members = more likely to stay at home on night/cold/wet games, more likely to have health concerns about covid risks too.
On a semi-related note, this week's round 11 game for the Crows, saw Izak Rankine play in front of more accumulative fans then he did with the Suns in all 22 games last year.I agree with this, until this year .....Crowds in MELB however have really bounced back.
It seems there's more volatility from matches to matches .....more picking & choosing games to attend, rather than regularly going each match ?

Yet, disturbingly .....how s**t West Coast are ....they are still drawing bigger crowds than the Crows are

Yep, agree .....Fog is back to wrestling opponents more .....whereas he was simply leading & jumping at balls in the 2nd half of 2022Disagree. He is looking more like Fog of early 2022 than Fog of mid-late 2022. His benefit is to the team is to take marks and kick goals.
He is playing from behind a lot more and doesn't have the same swagger.
Robbo wrote that he'll need to explain himself at the tribunal and floated the question of whether it would be a month's suspension if found guilty
Yep, agree .....Fog is back to wrestling opponents more .....whereas he was simply leading & jumping at balls in the 2nd half of 2022
My take is, the knee injury this year, changed his approach .....does Fog have the confidence in the knee to jump & split packs ....or is he thinking of potential re-injury, which is still holding him back ??
I suspect the weather conditions the last couple of weeks may have played into that?Yep, agree .....Fog is back to wrestling opponents more .....whereas he was simply leading & jumping at balls in the 2nd half of 2022

Yes, could be a number of factors, wet weather maybe a genuine reason.....Fog is at his best when jumping for his marks, hope we see that back soonI suspect the weather conditions the last couple of weeks may have played into that?
What more does Rory Laird need to do for this board to acknowledge he's an A grader?
Has the Wabbit from up North snuck out from his burrow yet?
Interested in his take on Milera's game yesterday?
He shouldn't feel too bad plenty of us were having doubts as well including me.
I wonder did the Wabbit rate the team's performance yesterday?
Yep... for someone without a membership the cost is insanity. Last time I went my partner and I paid $86 each, to sit on the third tier (Sec 544 or something).... That was the Collingwood game. The price of a seat is now pretty ridiculous as well and would turn a few people away.
Get a full membership - get it taken out on monthly paymentsYep... for someone without a membership the cost is insanity. Last time I went my partner and I paid $86 each, to sit on the third tier (Sec 544 or something).... That was the Collingwood game.
He's trying to encourage me to get a membership where you get discounted games during the year.
