Did any of our forwards have a good game? Hard to drop any of them due to our midfield delivery.

However Himmelberg should be dropped

The difference between Himmelberg and Fogarty or Gollant is that Himmelberg can't even do the basics right. He can't kick, he can't mark, he can't lead and he has no intensity at the contest whatsoever. He also has poor football IQ.

Fogarty and Gollant both have good fundmentals. Fogarty can lead, can mark and can kick and has good decision making. Gollant also is an excellent mark, appears to have some pace, has goal kicking ability and plays with high intensity. The issue is neither of them (especially Fogarty) show these fundamentals often enough.

It's obvious who to prioritize and who needs to be in the SANFL even if the delivery is atrocious and no one scores effectively
Himmelberg had three very good deliveries to him and stuffed them all up.

I have to get this one off my chest.

Chayce Jones just does not have any footy IQ.

There was a moment in the last quarter where Jeremy Howe kicks the ball 50m straight to the boundary line.

Jones leads his opponent to the ball by 3-4metres. There was no way Jones was ever going to keep the ball in, and if by some miracle he did then he would have been tackled.

The player with footy IQ would have held back just a little and let the ball go out. Then appeal for deliberate. There would have been a 50:50 that the umpire would have played it.

Instead Jones lunges with one hand and manages to touch the ball just before it goes over. Just absolutely zero footy IQ.
Eh. Jones is the least of our problems.

Lol at Matt Crouch having 29 touches and being rated 2nd lowest. Completely sums up the ineffectiveness of his disposals.

And for all the handwringing in here about Himmelberg, I actually thought he was slightly less putrid than Fogarty. Fog seems to get a pass though due to our awful midfield and Berg doesn’t get the same concessions. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep Himmelberg did outperform Fog

And that’s saying something

If only he had some talent and not be so bad re ‘Berg

You have got to be kidding me

He was actually on par if not worse than Himmelberg and that’s saying something

It’s fair to be more disappointed in fog but not to say he’s been worse. Sone of the frees against fog were a joke.

The last quarter had a great example the difference between the 2. Himmelberg sky bombs a kick to Fog when he’s wide open, couple minutes later Fog delivers a bullet pass to Berg but he drops it anyway.

Doedee giving Mihocek a bath. That was good.

Crows having more hit outs, more clearances, more centre clearances, more stoppage clearances was also good. Not capitalising on those was bad.

To be realistic, the only reason we had more centre clearances is that Collingwood can’t count to 6.

who else didn’t flinch when Himmelberg dropped that chest mark in front of Pendles. Fog laced it out to him and Pendles shadow puts enough pressure on Himm that he drops the mark.

Brilliant pass by Fogarty into a tall forward who drops it and has no reason to be at AFL level.

Classic.

Surely the coaches have seen enough (or **** all) of Berg at this point.
