Yep, was thinking that at the end

If we'd won we would never have received another free kick in our lifetimes

Pies are elite. I'd be looking at the Richmond loss - that is looking stinkier by the week.
Richmond we ran out of steam after GWS game.

Tonight we should have won.

Probably the only console there is we kept the best side in the league to 59 points. That said, we pissed away a big statement win.

Good:

Soligo had a big three quarters. Hopefully he's not injured as that sub was mind boggling stupid.

Pedlar stood up and made plays. Is building nicely into the year.

Jones really cements this run of form with a 20 and 2. Could have easily got 20 and 4 as well.

I thought we defended stoutly. Not only the aforementioned 59 points, but our continious ability to stifle Collingwoods break aways. Doedee, Butts, Murray etc all had their moments.

Dawson played a big game.

Thilthorpe had an influence around the ground. Shame he wasted that shot.

We gave the blueprint on how to beat Collingwood at least.

Ugly:

How we handled that last quarter. We played it terrified of Collingwood instead of properly.

Goalkicking, and honestly, with that last quarter went, did we put too much pressure on ourselves to get that fast start?

Nicks had the first game in a long time where he was comprehensively outcoached. The sub was a terrible call as Soglio was one of the leading mids. Not only that, but playing your star mid in Dawson as a loose defender when it mattered reeked of fear.

There are positives there in that game, but yeah, pissed away a big statement win.

Had to be injured, just has to be. A coach isn’t subbing off Soligo otherwise, makes no sense.
Soligo's disposal in 1st half was atrocious.

Butts kicked directly to a Pie player, trying to find Milera.
Result: Collingwood goal.

That's the game, right there.
No, our forwards poor goal kicking was really game!

Dawson foot skill tonight was below par

And all that the ridiculous Mutineer can contribute is another of his vacuous HA-HAs at an intelligent post.
He is the anti-intellectual TRUMP of this Board.
And you're the biggest bullshit artist on the board, reams and reams of crap.

I’m gonna say it. I think the recent praise has gone to Dawson’s head and affected his natural game.

There were multiple times he had the logical easy handball to a free team mate, which he burnt in order to attempt the outlandish play and it backfired.

Back to the drawing board.

I think hes looked very tired since 3rd quarter of the Carlton game.
