Clearly not the best win we've had but we just need to chalk em up in April/May, guys. We basically played for time in the last which I don't mind. Structures were good and general ball winning was good, but it was our sloppiest performance so far and they got turnover goals.
Thought Gold Coast's effort was good all night and has been for most of the year. They've got a good coach.
Milera and Matty Crouch outstanding first half. Talia a beast. Greenwood loves the contest - he's a beauty.
Gibbs actually looks tired?
It's a good sign when 50 point wins leave us asking questions.

Our Lynch - back to his best
Matt - back and also good to have him have to deal with a tag
Milera - disposal a bit of a worry, but v. good to see him getting the ball
Gallucci - very nice. He's a keeper
Doedee - Damn.

Maybe the difference between playing for us and playing for Carlton. We are well known among players as the hardest working team in the league.
Which is probably the only reason we're a contender. He'll get used to it and be a beast when it counts.

Iced the game early, then absorbed a spirited fightback without any real issue
Milera - Breakout game
Doedee - Is good
Gallucci - He belongs. Oh he belongs.
Douglas - BOG for me
Mrouch - Got to experience the tag for the first time, but barely missed a beat.
Talia - Did a nasty job on Lynch.
Tex - was good when playing
Seeds/Lynch - Did what they do all the time.
Bad:
Mackays and Tex going off with injuries. Hopefully precautionary but something is really going wrong in terms of training for this to be occurring. Are we going too hard with training loads?
Jenkins - Had some good moments but Rory Thompson gave you a good hiding.
McGovern set shots - Just has no confidence in them at the moment. Might be the time for the 2s for a
couple of weeks just to get the head cleared.
Poholke - Rough seeing he's a 2nd gamer, but was overawed tonight. Was very fumbly and unclean, but there were flashes of potential.

Atkins - That was a jekyll and hyde performance. Some seriously good plays on offense, some seriously bad plays on defense.

Was quite refreshing actually with Pav, Dixon and Ricciuto commentating. No bullshit just called the game
For the fringe/backup
Mackay - one of his better games, attacked the ball with vigour and ran hard at the contest
Otto - one early mistake but was basically flawless after that, very capable KPD backup
Gooch - super game, got the ball and harassed/tackled well
Poholke - looks good when he's around the contest, not concerned if we need to keep playing him
Milera - no longer fringe, needs to be first choice back flanker, would like him to look for longer options, he has the time, still, why complain
CEY - such a brute around the contest. Fair season thus far given he's off a reco. Not that his haters will yield at all.

Milera went at 84.8% DE. Yes he made some mistakes but I'd hardly call his disposals a worry. Yes I realize stats aren't everything but he passed the eye test for me too.

Felt like he did a few kicks that were not under pressure that missed by too much for someone whose kicking is his best attribute.
Not too worried about it - easily his best game
