not sure why we're back to timid Jenkins, when he's in real good form he doesn't mind crashing in but he's definitely out of sorts at the moment.Been getting stuck in to Jenkins a lot lately. It's hard not to. He's the league's tallest soft outside receiver. Refuses to jump at the ball - especially when he's inside forward 50. It's frustrating as anything to watch. Then, when the ball hits the deck, he shimmies away from it, getting out of everybody's way, regardless of their jumper colours. Terrible tackler, too. Kicks some bloody nice goals, but he's half the player he should be, if that. Fire the hell up and attack the bloody contest! He's been exceptionally poor these last two weeks. McKernan is equally frustrating, but at least he bloody jumps at the ball when it's dropping on his head. As much as midfield speed continues to be a drafting priority, it's becoming very clear that we need to look for another tall forward option - especially with old man Podsiadly's retirement not far off.
I can't think of anything that could have been the trigger.
