We just don't win at Kardinia Park...

We just don't beat the Eagles in Perth...

Write them off. Already losses. Ignore them and move on.

Why do we always lose?

Because they're difficult games and we prove not to be good enough to win them.

Why do we always disappoint in September? Same reason.

Perhaps instead of treating these games as write offs they should guide our actions moreso than any other game of the season.

That's looking more into it then what is needed, and I completely disagree. Kardina Park matches should just be written off where you rest your players with minor injuries. It's not just us that doesn't win there, practically no one does. You'll most likely never have to play a final there either so it's just a quirk, nothing more (whereas, Eagle in Perth matters because of that possibility of having to play a final there).

Since the start of the 2007 season Geelong are 87-11 at that ground. Getting anything out of a match there in this era is more you just lucked out with the stars aligning with Geelong having a shit day. Mind you, it's an interesting little coincidence seeing your point that the teams who have had multiple wins there also had issues with failing in big finals. Namely North, Fremantle when they were a contender, and 2014-2017 Sydney.

Look, we just don't win at Kardinia. We didn't win this time. Fairly predictable.

No big deal though. You pencil in this loss at the start of the season, and move on. We're not a bad team and this match is the most meaningless in our fixture.
Our team is definitely looking less potent without

Lynch
CEY
