You’re joking? He’s slammed on and on for the last five weeks how s**t Keays is and we hear crickets when he has a cracker. He deserves everything he gets.
No I’m not.
You don’t get the irony of slamming him for going on about it, and then people tag him in every post and then complain about him going on about it again?
If you (not you) want to tag him, stop complaining when he responds.

He sits in a really interesting position in the team.

Using my highly accurate "this is my opinion meausre" he sits something like:
  • Ceiling of max performance in our premiership team (as voted by bigfooty): 17th of best 22
  • Playing above his ceiling: 1st of 22
  • Players not in the 22 with a higher ceiling: 7
  • Players not in the 22 who will hit that ceiling: 5
  • Who would Mackay have given his photos to? (Sloane obviously, not sure why you are bringing this up)
Fully franked and calculated BF ranking score: 20th out of the best 22, while consistently performing in the top 10.

Berry is sitting around wanting a shot. Madness.

What I'm loving about our side is how it's all about team.

Even Rankine last night was directly involved in 3 goals that he could've/should've kicked himself, yet he was just as fired up for the eventual kickers.

Team effort, team goals, team wins.

His kick to McManiac and then the celebration was very heartwarming that the team is on the right track

I know they are the opposition and to be honest it was underestimating us as a team but it was really nice in this day and age of professionalism to have Charlie Curnow play in the same team as his dad

I didn’t tag him. I just asked the question if he’d had anything to say. Like I said, he deserves everything he gets after his disgraceful carrying on.

It’s been covered in the other threads.
Don’t complain about him going on about it again then.

Except he hasn't been crickets at all. He's put his position consistently through out the day, while dullards spam the same false accusation that he's some how shirked it.

Same deal with Murphy, how many people have banged on about him not being AFL standard for years. Well some humble pie needs to be eaten shortly if he continues how he is. It's like people dont think players improve as they get over 50 - 100 games in them. Chayce Jones looks to be the next one coming on leaps now he's in that range with enough preseasons. People so quick to write players off because they weren't dominating in a s**t house team.

Absolutely agree RE: Murphy. Two weeks ago in the showdown I saw a skill level I didn’t know existed. Another whipping boy because he’s short and scrappy, I think he’s locked a spot for the season

Chayce was a top 10 draft pick for a reason. Oozes skill. All he needed was confidence

So has the Clam had anything to say about his favourite player Ben Keays?
oh look.. yet another whinger from the Ben Keays fan club that constantly tells us they are sick of reading what bearded clam has to say about Ben… but then desperately asks if bearded has had anything to say about Ben..

what a pathetic bunch of losers.

you don’t hear shit from them for weeks when Ben is playing ordinary, apart from them whining about having to hear about how ordinary ben is playing, then, when he finally rolls around to playing his one good game every now and then, out of the swamp they crawl obsessively squealing;

“where’s that bearded clam fellow!!.. quick I’m desperate to know what he has to say about bens game… he needs to tell us all his thoughts”

then when I tell them again it’s;

”whaaa, I don’t think we need to constantly hear this about my dearest Ben!!”

I don’t tag one of you into my comments.. Yet i’ve had about 5 or 6 of you Keays luvvies tag me in or mention me in your comments in the last 24hrs since the game..

there’s an ignore button Jenny.. if you‘re so fragile that you get all upset when you read my comments concerning Ben.. then fxxkn use it darling.

“Deserves everything he gets”..

what exactly have I gotten dear?

just like Brownlow night.. I’ve gotten tagged into and/or mentioned in the comments of a few that clearly cannot deal with other people saying things on a public forum that they disagree with… and in the end they simply embarrass themselves.

and just as always.. I won’t lose a single drop of sleep over it.

If people want to keep banging on about Keays and Murphy being no good it’s just obvious they have an ingrained bias in them that prevents them from watching games objectively

And that’s fine

Not everyone can know alot about football

Love having guys like that at the club but also glad we haven’t got 42 of them

It’s all about list balance

Fogarty

I mean, if you are playing that line

Yep ever since Geelong game last year I’ve said I made a mistake with Fogarty

More than happy to admit error , never said a bad word about him since . Even wanted him in this year’s leadership group

Guess I’ll just hang my hat on wanting Dawson to play iNSIDE mid 13 months ago and calling Nick Murray our best key defender nearly 12 months ago when others didn’t want to play him in the side

And Laird … people still think he wouldn’t be a prime mover in other teams , comical . He’s bordering elite midfielder of comp and some can’t admit

Sometimes you make errors , admitting them is fine

And it's about selecting the best side. I still don't think Murphy is that good.

He is in the same group as players like Rowe, McHenry, Petrenko, etc. They are good enough to be on a list, should dominate at SANFL and can be very handy to perform a role in a good side, but really lack an elite trait to be automatic best 22 players.

Due to the obscene amount of forward line talent - we can carry 1-2 defensive forwards. Keays is correctly getting first crack. He can go into the middle (attending about 20% of centre bounces a game) and also has the tank/athleticism to tag a half back like Saad.

I would still prefer us to go in with Fog, Walker, TT, Peds, Rankine, Keays and McAdam as our primary 7 forwards (resting Rachele as our 8th).

Murphy is next one in, with McHenry to follow - although I would just love to have the club give Newchurch a block of 3 game. Seems like the type that will either sink or swim at AFL.
