Just watching the last 1/4 again. That would have been Berry's best ever 1/4 for the AFC. Crouch was very good as well as Soligo just for the effort from both of them. Berry sure is tough. Early in that 1/4 he flips a Carlton player over his shoulder.\
Hamill was classy with his disposal.

Up there would be the single-handed effort to compete against Sydney a couple years back.

Yes I do. He’s a b grade footballer who we are starting to see is only average now he’s spending less time in the midfield and more talented players in there. Putting him in the back lines will damage that part of the ground.

Just watched the last few minutes back. We came up clutch with a few key moments:

• Crouch with some elite handballs
• Keays the same (kick on the wing was not great)
• Berry with the goal obviously but should have won a high free kick as well in Carltons 50
• Max with a huge tackle on Curnow
• Keanes towering mark on the siren
• Dawson with an elite kick to Keays

The Laird conspiracy theories are weird. Even if he were entirely selfish, surely he's in a much stronger position than he was last week.

In the short term Crouch is missing next week. And if we are putting this much weight on the performances vs Carlton, then in the medium term it's Dawson that has been revealed as the weakest link of the previous main 3 midfielders.

He's almost definitely the first choice midfielder this week.
