I also think he has to hit targets to get the final year? He's probably on less that AFL average but 3 years is 1 too many. Might be a casualty of a list cull.

Even if we win it, we're the last club standing.
Weird too as he’s the leading metres gained player in the league this seasonBrodie Smith only had 230m gained. I wonder when the last time he had a game that low? In a win no less.
Saved by GC entering the competition during the Primus Era.Do Port have an AFL wooden spoon?
No, but if they want to claim their 69 sanfl/safa/coa/sapfl highs they can take their lowsDo Port have an AFL wooden spoon?
Maybe at the time they rated him above Himmelberg, who has since gone ahead.Probably the cost of getting him to switch. Think he still had an offer from the Power on the table to stay.
Yup. By whatever metrics and weighting champion data used, they rated Fogs influence as more important than Matt Crouchs.
Seems a bit to skewed to a couple of statistics, but also Matt does have a habit of getting a lot of ball and not really doing anything with it.
Jones had 5 clearances in the last game he played mostly midfield, led us in that stat on the day (Bulldogs game I think). He’s clearly playing a very different role since. He can get some time on ball when one of the other players is injured, even then maybe pass. He spudded it as fully on ball for weeks, needs to earn it. I want the combinations that have seen us look okay.
No, their obvious wooden spoon season coincided with entries of GCSDo Port have an AFL wooden spoon?
Wasting it...Carlton have actually gone backwards in their rebuild if thats even possible.
Tbh, I agree. The championship data rate i think is pretty shit.Don't understand this stat at all when McGovern can be almost average, Jones can have a season high and Crouch can be one of the worst on ground.
Crouch completely nullified Cripps in the first half when the game was there to be won and kicked a very classy goalRory Laird would be in the top handful of inside midfielders for his last few games. He's winning contests and using the ball efficiently.
By contrast Brad was not good. Got most of his possessions uncontested, only 4 of 16 were contested. And did not use it well.
We must let Brad walk even if we only get pick 20 or whatever. Case closed.
What absolute crap....Yup. By whatever metrics and weighting champion data used, they rated Fogs influence as more important than Matt Crouchs.

Id like us to have pick 1 for the PSD though...Want to avoid the wooden spoon as it will be forever etched in history and not fussed with pick 2.
If they want to claim their SANFL flags, they can claim the spoons as well.Do Port have an AFL wooden spoon?
Communist! Some absolute GOLD on the Carlolton board:
"Filthy.
Lost to a SANFL side.
Brissy will roll us next week, leaves us on 7 wins, same as last year (albeit a shortened season).
Pretty ******* annoyed tbh. We just can't be bothered for long periods of the game."
"Mentally weak side.
If this club had any sort of culture or leadership - where effort is non-negotiable - that first half wouldn’t happen.
But alas no, it happens...again and again, week after week.
To put that sort of pathetic effort against the bottom side shows just where we are at."
"Horrendous coaching. Player positioning, poor gameplan, too rigid in thinking and not making enough moves during the game to change things up.
This sits a lot on Teague’s shoulders. "
"
Per ******* usual with this team a lot on the line and we fu** it up.
Mental toughness is lacking at this club and it needs to ******* change.
We need to get a chocko Williams to help Teague because Barker etc just are not up to it and we don't have that tough aggressive type and it shows too many players are happy with their effort . "
"It just infuriates me to see Teague relaxed and not giving a sh*t .... imagine Parkin allowing so many bs starts in a season!
u allow it, it keeps on happening!"
" S**thouse umpiring "
"So despite the ‘massive improvement’ we will win as many as we won last year.
Interesting "
" Utterly contemptible performance that typifies this club. We’re a disgrace. "

He had 7 score involvementsGlad he got plenty of the ball but he was taking all the kick ins and we were searching for him all day. Not knocking him but he didn’t really have an impact I thought..
