Why? Because they've had a couple of umpire-assisted wins against us? Wasn't their fault. Most of their players are pretty likeable whereas Geelong is just full of flogs.

More than a couple. When I think of Sydney, I think of:

• Paul Roos and his comments about Hurley
• The goal climbing incident
• Papley
• Barry Hall getting off a suspension to play a GF
• Grundy getting away with blue murder in defence
• COLA

You’re right that most of their players are fine but footy is tribal and emotional . For whatever reason, I’ve admired Geelong and their style and culture over the past 15 years. They’re the club I want EFC to be.

Watching Robbie and the crowd getting into it makes me so jealous that the Bombers aren't there.

Yep, or close to, if they gave INXS a proper stage and show it would have come close.

Not even really a Robbie fan at all but the show was good and the crowd was engaged.

Not a Robbie fan either, I think he's more appealing to an older generation than mine But they had the whole set up ready to do it justice and I think that's the difference.

McLachlan commented on 360 the other night that it was upwards of a million bucks to get Robbie. Or more specifically, Robbo asked how much it cost and McLachlan kept gesturing "higher higher" while he was guessing. I guess some of the $$$ were for the stage and the dancers and stuff

Yeah that’s what I was getting at with the INXS but. Today’s show was better but if they put the same effort into the whole show for INXS as they did with Robbie it would have been about equal. Both known as great entertainers live.

I have 2 ways of watching - a console which I paid around $600-700 for iirc, way cheaper than it's currently available for.
And a paytv service.
