Over a certain screen size is a different part of the broadcast rights and you wouldn't get it at all through that app. That's what I was referring to before about the streaming stuff being s**t

Just thought I'd fire up the app to have a look. Reduced to a 7in screen for whatever reason, doesnt make a lot of sense to me unless they think people are desperate enough on GF day to cram around a 10in tablet to watch it.

Imagine having so much confidence in your midfield to stand up you put Robbie Fox on Jeremy Cameron in a grand final, and you lose for a completely different reason.

He's been their best along with Rowbottom too

So a broadcaster can dictate the pixelage?

WOW!
The broadcast rights agreement that they're all signed up to has a definition for 'mobile' and 'tablet' streaming, which means the rights holder for mobile streaming can only stream at the size of a mobile device. Otherwise what would be the point of having separate television and mobile streaming rights?

It's a cash grab obvs but yea

Not gonna lie, there was panic in the Package household when I realised with 10 minutes until the bounce I didn’t have the TV aerial plugged in and didn’t know where the cable was.

This is literally the only 4 hours of the year I don’t watch through my google tv.

Pretty much same. Don't know why you'd watch ads if you don't have to

I love the Temper Trap as much as the next person but they haven’t released an album in 7 years and aren’t even based here anymore. Great that they are platforming a couple of indigenous artists though.

Eh, I'm okay with the Stewart decision
I'm just over everything in footy being over analysed to try and get everything perfect. A bloke flinches on the mark...50. Goal umpires are too scared to make a decision so we have to get it checked, and still there is doubt a lot of times. To me common sense says a ball kicked out of bounds the penalty is the other teams gets to kick it if they want to....I don't care how he kicks it, as long as he doesn't try to play on and run around on the out of bounds side of the man marking it. It's just over umpiring to me and takes away from the game.

Exact same scenario in the Doug household in 2021!
