I remember growing up hearing the term 'last Saturday in September' as reference to the AFL GF. Is that not used anymore? Or is my brain just making it up.
I thought that too but wanted to be certain.
I clarified earlier, his performances this far absolutely average out to average. He’s getting better but my comment is fair.Rayner is NOT average , he's like a younger Heeney with so much upside
I’m running the full gamut, from calmness to peacefulness, quietude to tranquillity, stillness to serenity, imperturbation to placidity.I've been going through a range of emotions, right now it's excitement. Yesterday it was nerves. Tomorrow, who knows?
Hopefully the players are handling this better than me
NO! I'm still in NSW... they have to wait for me to get there!!!Can it just be ****ing Saturday already?
It's still the last Saturday in September, and has been for as long as I can remember...I've been going through a range of emotions, right now it's excitement. Yesterday it was nerves. Tomorrow, who knows?

Nope, it's the last Saturday in September... it just that the public holiday in NSW is the first Monday in October, and sometimes they are the same weekend, other times not...Not used as the Grand Final keeps moving. Wasn't the Grand Final in October a few years ago?
No Google, I do not want to see a montage of my trip to Melbourne from 2 years ago. We've moved on.
Immediate trade.I'll never forgive him.
Agreed. And all those non-football related injuries has left me pretty bitter. We've shown we can win without him. In fact, having him back in the team coincided with our form slump. He's on thin ice.If Horse plays Mills, we lose and Mills plays poorly or goes down with related injury he needs to walk away. It’s that serious imo.
Longmire said he made a terrible mistake playing Reid.Agreed. And all those non-football related injuries has left me pretty bitter. We've shown we can win without him. In fact, having him back in the team coincided with our form slump. He's on thin ice.
He also mentioned Ted Richards 2012 and I found that quite alarming.Longmire said he made a terrible mistake playing Reid.
If he plays Mills and he is a liability or gets injured it’s straight malpractice.
It’s no time for loyalty or sentimentality, got to make a tough call even if there’s an ever so slight chance he’s not right.
