I'm only Priority 3, so may not get in anyway, but any of the regulars here are welcome to my barcode. I won't be able to go.

Bonz, will you sort it? Or will i just be getting PM's?

Hope you haven't received too many pm's.

Check the list at the start of the thread and send through to someone there.

Damn. Do you know if the way it works is priority 1 members get better chances of the best seats?

Or do they just put all the cat1,2 & 3 members who were successful into a random draw for the same pool of seats?

Pretty confident they allocate seats, so CAT 1 members get their seats allocated first.

From the wording on the website do they only open up Cat 3 if Cat 1 and 2 doesn't oversubscribe the allocated seats?

PRIORITY 1
Registration time: 8am - 11am EST on Wednesday, September 10

PRIORITY 2
Registration time: 12 midday - 4pm EST on Wednesday, September 10

PRIORITY 3
Registration time: 5pm - 9pm EST on Wednesday, September 10

Note: Registrations will only be available to Priority Three members should any tickets remain following the Priority One allocation and the Priority Two ballot.

It sounds like it, nice pick up.

Yep, they will email later today.

so, no cat 3 codes at all? Will go ahead with the 2 I have for what it's worth, but for my mates sake, I really need to get his wife a ticket. On another note, IF we get tix, where in melbourne could we get a late room somewhere? 2012 I caught the overnight train down and back. Could do it again, but driving down is easier option with companions.
Air BnB I recommend

Its going to be interesting this time around considering we didn't even have enough people register in 2012.

So they forgo the opportunity to screw all the Cat 3 members out of $7.50 if they realise that Cat 3 are no chance of getting a ticket??

I'm flabbergasted...
Yep will all be fighting for 1 ticket! - Still holding out for one kids code - or adult

That would be awesome, but I doubt it

Yeah don't think Cat 3 will get a look in.

Very different buildup in 2012. More expectation on us this year which means more people taking out the upgrade to Priority 1. More Members in general. And more people who have made early plans to attend the GF during the year.

Hope I'm wrong as that means my P2 will definitely get a seat - but can't see it happening.

I genuinely forgot about it in 2012. Got lucky in the second ballot.

Previously in 05/06 it was a matter of lining up or spamming the phone line at a certain time like most concert tickets used to be. Just didn't pay enough attention in 2012 but because of that near-miss I've been across this alot more.

Anyway just registered three P2 barcodes. Fingers crossed. GL to everyone else - may the RNG Gods be on your side.

Yeah I got lucky in 05... I called the number about 10 minutes before the lines were due to open and got straight through to someone who must have logged in early or had no idea that they werent supposed to release tickets yet. A lot of other people got stuck waiting on hold only to miss out.

My guess is all P1's, P2's will get tickets and some but not all P3's this time. And yes I camped out on Driver Avenue in '05!!!! That was fun. If I remember correctly they allocated a number for a queue for which you came back on the Sunday to buy tickets. And you could buy up to 5 I think on one membership.

Still desperately looking for 2 x P2's if anyone has any.
