Aside from the Mitchell/Pagan saga, I wasn't aware of any infighting and back srtabbing go on at Carlton now that RP is the President. Great get by the Carlton Footy Club, and another step forward for us.
Well if he wanted Premierships why on earth would he go to Carlton?
All that he will get there are plenty of spoons.
Some of this maybe true tosspot.
Win a flag why don't you! NAB, or premiership. It is still more than your losing mob. We have had some tough years no doubt. Thats behind us. We will enjoy the rise while you guys fall. But then again, you have the great full forward Nathan Buckley to kick goals for ya!
Bandwagon supporters? give me a break....

Tough years..lol you have been a laughing stock for 7 years!!
those seasons 7 and 6 years ago when you had salary cap concessions shouldn't count. same in 957 years? That's funny because I recall us finishing 2nd on the ladder 7 years ago, 5th 6 years ago and again above Collingwood 3 years ago. So in our "laughing stock" years as you describe them we have finished above Collingwood 3 out of 7 years. Not too bad for the darkest years in our club's history.
You're ****ed if you make Walsh CEO.
Eugene Arocca - New CEO
John O'neill alah rescued NRL from the Super League debacle? Lets hope. Realistically Eddie is the one we don't want to lose as he is the 'salesman'. We can always buy another Swann (Carlton did), but not another bloke with the passion and connections of Eddie. Carlton still haven't learnt their lesson have they? Buying premierships still doesn't guarantee loyalty, I mean look at their nightmare membership figures, and all the players who bled their club dry on $1mill packages and turned them into the basket case beggars they are today? All the rats left the sinking ship when the cash dried up. You have to have a decent member base to 'sell' to sponsors. Pratt will only be able to donate so much, and doesn't have the appeal of Eddie anyway. Swann rode on Eddies coat tails and even he can't polish a **** (Carlton).Depends on how much he brought in. There's already rumours that Eddie's trying to recruit John O'Neill, which would be an amazing coup. I have no idea if there's any truth to it however.
Do you think Dane will stay now that Greg is gone?

What would be a good coup would be the crazy johns guy.
The actual guy who runs the business or the big ugly mascot?
Swan to Carlton no different to Walsh going from North Melb to Collingwood or Brian Cook WCE to Geelong.
These CEO blokes all swap and change every few years, just part and parcel of AFL footy and for that matter the business world in general. Nothing to get overly emotional about.
If Eddie could land John O'Neill that would be a great coup, even if he does not have an AFL background.
