He is a Geelong Falcons lad. Was never happy about moving away from Geelong.
Was a mad West Coast supporter and lived in Perth as a kid.
The lure of having family in Geelong may well play a part but he has no emotional ties to the Geelong Football Club.

Interesting move by Richmond to go for both. I never really thought Tarranto and Hopper complemented eachother hence GWS being pretty poor the last couple of year. (Similar to Tom Mitchell and Jaeger for us.) Would make way more sense for them to land the one I would have thought. THis could backfire on them massively.

Not what I am told.
Any way, if the young man does not want to buy into Sam and the HFC regardless of connections, opportunity etc. etc then we should walk away and do so soon.

We need the time to prepare for the trade/draft period.

If Geelong do miss on Hopper (which seems likely), lets offer GWS overs for Bruhn and force Geelong to either waaay overpay OR pick up T.Mitchell from us as their Selwood replacement for the next 3 years

As someone far smarter than I just said, it is Tanner Bruhn’s decision now.

That is insane... i get it for Taranto but Hopper who is already showing signs of having a beat up body and plays as an inside mid...
