Wouldn’t hurt to have options especially on the cheap with no real draft capital given up my point is if you saw those assessments you would think that’s a 600k Player not 350k

Yeah but I think these days with an offensive wing like Amon, the others going to be defensive and drop back.

Harry is obviously rock solid defensively and interestingly Nash played as a defensive wing the last three rounds.

He's a perfect fit for Blues but Acres. And you're right, that's an amazing deal for them.

Acres was in All Australian form early. He absolutely destroyed us over there in Perth until he did his hamstring (I believe it was that game).

Carlton have done well here.

Very good pickup agree.

But stats can be misleading. Especially for wings that play in WA.

Acres (missed 4 games) didn't finish top 10 in Freo's BF and they've not battered an eyebrow to losing him, didn't think he was going to be best 22 next year by media reports. Hence the deal.

Acres really only started playing good AFL footy at 25, Harry had a really good year at 23 this year.

I'd rather Harry tbh. Especially opposite Amon.

Yep, it’s extraordinary. I would have thought we make a play for him and/or Hunt who went to WC as a FA.
The difference though is acres was marked as above average or elite in all main categories the us year. Hunt was average or below average. Acres would have been a great fit well done blues.

Im going to drop a sheckel on Carlton for the flag next year. They have that feeling about them for me.

Nah, nothing like it for me. It's 50/50 where as with Cogs we had people saying it was a done deal and could "take it to the bank".
