Firstly, the "No Kane Cornes" Rule is back

2023 I would be aiming for 9-11 wins, generally more consistent & competitive football.

Are 9-11 wins an inside job?

I have zero interest in Amon or Brayshaw. In my opinion they have peaked in solid squads. Solid players, but can they improve another 30%? Also both 26. Does it make sense to dump $600k-$750k on either of these players? Will it truly make a difference?

I believe we need to target 21-23 year olds. Similar to how we landed Gunston & Scrimshaw. There are plenty of quality young guys not getting a game.

If I was to pick one, it's Amon. Penetrating kick, also has attacking mindset.

If we are talking potential contender window (2025-2028) Morrison, Day, CJ, Bramble & Maginness would be my rotations across the wing.
I’m staggered that there’s people who don’t think signing Amon would be great for us. Essentially replacing Shiels on the list with a 26 year old Amon for nothing more than an extra 200k (which we have plenty of) would be a massive win for us. Long left foot kick, suits our game style….massive no brainer

With Jackson going to freo should we go after Lloyd meek? In the few games I have seen him in I was impressed. He fits our demographic and creates a good contest for spots with 3 rucks around 24-25 he’s got much better chance of playing senior footy with us than behind Darcy and Jackson and he’s a Ballarat boy.

Would cost too much in a trade.

Greater Western Sydney is set for another exodus of key players at the end of the season, Sam McClure says.

McClure recently reported Tim Taranto was likely to be playing elsewhere next year.

Jacob Hopper, you can now put in that same position – I believe he will leave GWS this trade period, with one year left on his deal,” McClure said on 3AW.

“And Bobby Hill and Tanner Bruhn, I think, will both join them out the exit door.

“This is, once again, salary cap based.”

Giants having their annual garage sale.

We've been stung before, more than once.
With all the talent they have had access to, how have they got Jessie Hogan at FF and Lachie Keefe at FB?

Their coaches box of late is also the stuff of nightmares. If they don't land a very good coach, a mass exodus is on the cards in 2022/23.

GWS wont be in any rush to trade Hopper they're bound to finish in a similiar position next year which would net them a top ten pick through Free Agency and I don't see sides making a trade worth while this year.

Maybe the Saints but i don't see any other side coming to the table.
