I wouldn't have thought GWS would be keen on him given they seem to be going full reset/rebuild. I guess you could argue he somewhat replaces Taranto/Hopper but a rung below their level, surely. Are they trying to be competitive during the rebuild?

Well the narrative certainly changed once SYL proposed that it could mean somebody leaving us instead.

I still didn't read it that way personally.

I suggest we just wait and see before sending Chad and JOM to GWS.

Probably much of a muchness. Hopper has the extra 3 years which probably swings it. Put it this way, GWS are supposedly turning down a future first plus a current second for him and we're not getting anything close to that for JOM without paying the entire salary.

I read it as a salary dump from the Giants, but it seems like it might be the other way around. We’re willing to pay salary of one of our own to get a 1st rounder in.

We’ve got someone leaving and we’re paying salary to get a late first back, ontop of Tom also leaving.
