Stephens draft profile.

Well built, only put on more muscle since his draft. Unlucky with a few freak injuries, but seems like his rehab has progressed well. At the moment he seems a similar player to Worpel, which won't be popular with everyone but he has scope to develop into a real inside bull. May as well take another bite at the apple on the cheap.
another limitation he had in his draft year was he was a low 20's disposal player, so not an accumulator and played more outside even though he is strongly built, good kick though and talented player in a bit of space.

so Geelong dont want Cooper Stephens so i guess we'll get him cheaper than normal, he was a solid tall midfielder, did his ACL prior to draft, has not dominated at the cats, but could be a good piece for our developing midfield going forward?
Any insight on why Geelong don’t want Stephens? I thought he was rated highly internally?

If anyone wants a funnyish Jurassic Park story read on - if you want trade gossip skim to the next post.

An acquaintance of mine in my formative years fancied himself as a tough guy (mainly mistook his being 40-50kg overweight as being intimidating). We went to see Jurassic Park 3 and like 15 minutes into the movie this mobile phone rings like 3-4 times. This is 2001 so people still got huffy at this stuff and he was one of them - so after a few rings he says at the top of his lungs 'TAKE THAT ******* THING OUTSIDE!!!!' at which point one of the characters in the movie picks up the phone. My group of mates and I were laughing so hard our row of chairs was shaking.

This is the only thing I remember about Jurassic Park 3 other than William H Macy being in it.
Tea Leoni for me!!!
