Sorry, I shouldnt laugh, I am about 5 weeks off from spraining my ankle playing netball. My ankle is still swollen and in pain! I don't know how these players get half the injuries they have and recover in a few weeks!

I have Lisfranc injury in my right foot. Wheelchair riding is fun 🤣🤣
They're pretty tough.

The way Smithers is playing, I wonder if we'll even remember his good years, or if he'll just be remembered in a similar manner to David Mackay.
Will be interesting if he does decide to play on next year, if he does then he will get to 280 games and supporters will remember him as a very selfish player. Deep inside, he knows his body is cooked. MacKay knew this and retired, I think we even offered him another year which he decline?

The club isn't winning a premiership any time soon. Smithers should retire to allow someone else the chance to play.

Smashed completely in the contest.

Matt Crouch has had 12 of 35 possessions contested.

Rory Laird has had 8 of 30.

Stop letting those two make themselves look good.

Mutineer you disagree with my post, care to share why?

Both Crouch and Laird this year are in the low 40s for contested possession rates which is considered average for a midfielder. Both are guys who are limited as ball users but who are in the team because they are good contest players.

So while we’re struggling to win in the contest and get the ball going forward, our two most experienced mids are racking up uncontested handballs, and when they do send it forward it’s usually a high kick to the defenders advantage (Laird in particular). At the same time, Schoenberg and Laird are struggling to find the footy and we leave them at half forward, rather than giving them a go in the midfield.

Explain to me how any of these benefits us moving forward.

And then the Crows line up for a guard of honour for Gunston, a bloke who left us to join the team he plays in 3 flags for. Are you ****ing kidding me? I cant believe they did that. Who is the soft poor campaigner that instructed the players to do that. Was it the Captain or coach? Who ever organised that needs to step down or be sacked. What a laughing stock these campaigners are.
Classic crows, zero mongrel in this club, irrelevant and regularly getting walked all over.

We died & now the season is dead.

Surely now even the most optimistic realise we are no chance of playing finals.

The board should be instructing the coaching group to prioritise young talent to prepare for next season.

Which is why I would have more respect for Olsen if he came out & said unfortunately finals is very unlikely & the club is going to prioritise playing our top end talent... otherwise we will get even less out of this season.
