SCG, Packers World Series night game, Oz vs Windies. We had driven over.
4 of us walking side-by-side into the SCG carrying three eskies with iced drinks; the two blokes on the outside carrying a slab-on-shoulder each. Girls chatting away behind us carrying enough food/snacks/tarp to feed/seat a Battalion.
Built a can wall in front of us on the Hill which was demolished by a Clive Lloyd SIX.

Next morning, dunno how I got back to the Motel, didn't know who won the game.
Paying for it now, with fewer brain cells and posting in here <<drooling>>.

FWIW I went to Payneham Demonstration School for a few years
Then some school along Payneham Road for my early childhood
Glad my parents came back to Darwin
