Buddy was tackled holding the ball early in the game after he had the mark, played on and got caught. There was a player well within the protected area. No 50.Wow. 50m and goal for Pickett being too close. That's more than 5m!!

Lol. 3qtr, Oliver got a freebie when Gulden got called htb with no prior, Gawn got a freebie when Hickey was "holding" Gawns arm despite the fact Gawn put his own arm back to push off.. both goals from arguable calls

Hopefully the umpiring department also get sat down and shown the silly Franklin antics staging for frees so next time he runs at a player and flops they don't run over to see if the poor guy is ok.
Happens to a lot of old champions when the better, younger more athletically gifted players start toweling them up. May and Melbourne should be pretty pissed at how the umpires rewarded multiple staging efforts of Franklin.
He won't be getting to many more of those.

Thank god someone said that. I was wondering how petracca was 3.14cm away from buddy when play on was called and not running out of the area. But yeah the umps gifted the swans goals

Probably the greatest defensive effort I've ever seen.
Starts as a 2v1 in their f50, ends up with Blakey, Fox, Rampe mopping up and Gulden and Lmac both get deep to provide the outlet

Buddy was getting toweled up and basically had to resort to flopping for soft frees to make an impact.
He is past it, is obviously unfit and playing on his name not his output. And umpires do love giving soft frees to the big name players.
Hopefully it stops. No one wants finals influenced by acting and flopping.
PS Lol'ing just shows you lack intelligence and are trolling. Enjoy the Swans moment in the sun but premierships are not won by flopping.

Clear fix up for the non-50 call Franklin should have had in the first. Petracca was well inside the 10m area when play on was called
Franklin gets the 50m penalty, gets the goal, Petracca doesn't get an epic corkie on his calf, no problem.
Three huge defensive efforts in a row by the Swans. Looks a little bit like Shaw's epic smother on Riewoldt in 2010.

that's just 3 melb mistakes. It also wasn't an epic smother by Shaw. Just a riewoldt lack of awareness.
