I would have done it after the GWS game, then would have extra wins against Aints and *.
If we go to the draft with pick 8, I trust our team to draft a better than with that pick than the Crows with pick 3.
Crows will rue not going harder in last year's SA heavy draft.
The best thing about this is that it takes any semblance of pressure off Stocker. No one will ever care that his ‘price’ was a 4-5 pick downgrade and he’ll be able to play without it being constantly raised.

You know who I'm most pleased for as a result of the recent developments (P.S. Lol Crows)? Not SOS. Not Teague. Not even the supporters. I'm most pleased for Liam Stocker. He will get to enjoy a standard AFL career, just like most other players, without undue pressure weighing on him as a result of the trade. If we gave up pick 1 and received back pick 15-18, he would be unfairly scrutinised his entire career. But, now? He gets to play, just like everyone else. All the best Liam!

They have S*** the bed so bad they have to throw away the pillows. Only beaten GC and Saints at home since the bye.
The smarter posters on their board have come to realise they are where we were in 2013 round about finals for the second year in a row but not a serious contender, running out of excuses and about to fall off a cliff. Likely not to fall quite as hard as they are coming from a higher base, but fall hard they will.
