I'd be surprised if we win > 2 games with our current form and list profile.
Essendon have had recent losses; hardly due another one.
More like we are due a win.

Yes similar for me. I said:

I have us most likely finishing 5th, which assumes we lose to Freo and Collingwood but win the rest.

Win one of those and we finish 3rd.

We should win 5 of our last 6 (good record against the dogs r23 last year was an anomaly) and 16 wins should get us 4th at worst i reckon.
I think we will lose the freo game but if we win it we should get 2nd and a vic final in week 1.

My ladder predictor has us finishing 4th and sydney up there in the 1st week.
But 2rd or 3rd and carlton in 1st week if we beat freo.
The predictor assumes freo win at the mcg etc in the run home.

I find it difficult this far out to make a prediction for the next round let alone another 5. We’ve put ourselves in a position where we can finish as high as second. If we keep winning games we will. Freo over in WA will be tough. But even if we just drop that game we can still finish 3rd. See what happens.

Would be the dream top four. Pull the heist week one then potentially have an MCG prelim v Freo and MCG granny v Sydney. That would be our path to be a flag chance. End up travelling interstate and we have none.

Not surprised that we still very much rely on Danger and Cameron to inspire us and keep us potent.

Overall, I am surprised we are a realistic top 4 chance after our 1-6 streak; I am never surprised by our coach and his ability to adapt to the season and continually help us rebuild on the move and keep us in contention.

We will need to defend their talls well but they are a 6 goal side worse at geelong than marvel and we defend marvel too. We should do it.
