I would wonder what is wrong with them if they didn't and what have done to them that no longer want to have a laugh, what is life without laughter, i'm pretty sure most people in this world can work out what is a piss take and what is serious.

Yet if it was ScoMo, no one would be getting offended. It’s remarkable to think a poster on an Internet forum can actually get offended over jokes about a politician. Who is actually that invested in a politician?

You can think they are doing a good job, vote for them all you like, but to get so riled up and offended at a joke against them, it beggars belief.

Especially when there were so many more actually offensive jokes that could have been made about Dans drunken fall.

What I find funniest is they often complain about posters treating politics like footy teams when they are the most rabid, 1 eyed supporters of all. I’ve never seen so much vile abuse towards posters who simply have a different opinion and it’s become the acceptable norm.

The only reason it's drawing in so many junkies to the one area is there isn't MORE of them. If there were more, the pool of junkies and addicts they attract would be more spaced out (Yeah, that was a humour attempt) than what they currently are.

Maybe not near a school, but there are plenty of places to put one. Do you actually live near it? What negative experiences have you had? Honestly I'm not dismissing concerns about injection rooms, as by their very nature they do attract addicts and junkies. But opening a single one means that all of its users congregate in and near that one spot. Of COURSE there's going to be more trouble.

I think the idea behind safe injection rooms is a sound one. The criminal element at work in the surrounding area needs looking at though, for sure.

I agree there should be more, but placement needs to be considered. The problem is that there's so many NIMBYs who are against injecting rooms in principle and will never agree to one that no rational public discussion over location alone ever takes place.

It's always taken over by those who would never accept to them being anywhere.
