Loss of just under $900,000 is better than I was fearing, although it looks like we have sold some assets to get that result. Another loan to the social club is a concern ($640,000). Now is the time we need to turn it around, but there are plenty of clubs in the p00 with us at the moment.

my god at this rate the entire competition is going to be bankrupt in 3 years time! why doesn't the bloody afl just stop these increases in the players cap?!?!?!!? i mean seriously! almost half the damn competition is on the breadline or are making heavy losses

A loan to the social club- which one? (We have a new one at Colonial dont we? And we had one at Broadmeadows did we not)

?!

And what does this mean.. does this mean we have to pay them?

Right you are. Sorry about that ;)

2002 results are probably a little while away. Be nice if they were as low as these ones.

My girlfriend is an accountant and she says that it normally takes this long for these sort of reports.

I think that our administration is a lot more sound than Saints, Dees and Dogs, so I think we are on the right track.

Regarding the social club, I'm not too sure what that is about. I think that the Colonial Stadium situation will work for us. Unlike the Dogs and Saints, we have sat back and watch the stadium iron out its mistakes without us being involved (financially). Going by the Brownlow, Wrestling, Chili Peppers concert, Rhumba, etc, Colonial is starting to become favourable.

North Melbourne Football Club Limited loaned the North Melbourne Social Club. The loan was approved when Greg Miller was the CEO.

The North Melbourne Social Club as a business entity not as a building ie:kanga casino or colonial stadium.
