I don't completely subscribe to this train of thought. A jester does his job when people laugh and mock him - Cornes may be a clown but that's not his intention. Sure he likes to throw shock jock level grabs out there but I'm pretty sure he's doing it without any intentional sarcasm - yes, he says stuff for attention but fairly certain he believes what he says.

In the end I stopped reading any of his articles long ago, but I don't think he's 'winning' if people point out that he's an idiot.

I could buy that a lot more easily if he wasn't replicating Graham Cornes' niche in the media.

Absolutely not. You'll find my point of view shared in prior pages. Much the same I don't think it's worth being outraged over that peanut. If I see he's concocted an article or a point of view I keep scrolling, I don't dive into it knowing it's designed just to trigger someone.
