Like I said, International Cricket is completely different to Domestic Cricket.

Well obviously.

But in most cases, guys that are more successful at Domestic level will be more successful at International level

Our domestic comp is the best in the world, and Tait has measured up in that comp. As risky as he is, he needs to given a chance, not just one game here and there, let him play 4-5 games in a row and let him get some confidence, if it doesnt come off then drop him, but i feel hes a better option the Clark, Tait is a potiental match winner, Clark is at the test level, but not One day level, hes too predictable and doesnt have the tricks McGrath does.

this is where the "rotation" system is crap imho.

for a young player trying to break into a side they need to be given a sustained run in the side to find their feet. Hell, it even took warne 6-7 test matches to find his feet at that level.

picking tait for a match, then dropping him for the next 2 will keep him forever unsttled and unsure of himself at international level.

I agree I think he might be one of those bowlers that needs games to stay in good touch and if he is just in the nets he will get rusty. Similar to harmy in the ashes taking alot of bowling before he started actually consistently putting it on a spot at speed.
