AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
All this chit chat and now push back by the media (Crows seem to attract these things )Maybe ......but his management was formerly a Crows board member .....so do you think his intention is to "play" the Club he supports ??
18 so obviously going to be 18 Eddie will be welcomed back to the club to present the gurnsey the PR will actually be good for a change...Is it too early to think about what number Rankine should get? 23 is with McAdam, he needs a top ten number really

Yep ....I'm also sure we didn't use Draft Pick #6 on Rachelle as a small fwd
I remember watching Rankine play as a mid in the Championships, in his Draft Year ......pure poetry in motion
Just quietly, if it comes to pass Rankine coming to us, with the ability to move like that and with Fog starting to show the moves, Rachele with his evasiveness - its going to be fun to watch that forward line terrorise teamsBloody hell, they are just genuine highlights aren't they. There's no 'player takes standard mark and kicks regulation pass to team mate' type filler content in that.
Kid's got talent
And if Thilthorpe reaches his potential, and runs around there too...Just quietly, if it comes to pass Rankine coming to us, with the ability to move like that and with Fog starting to show the moves, Rachele with his evasiveness - its going to be fun to watch that forward line terrorise teams
Plus potential 2024 pick 1 Tyler Welsh waiting in the wings. And if Thilthorpe reaches his potential, and runs around there too...
What we really need is for Pedlar and one or 2 others to really have a big preseason and step up to become regulars in our side next year. The more young talent we can get into the midfield will mean that forward line gets the supplyAnd if Thilthorpe reaches his potential, and runs around there too...
McCabe is looking more like the pick 1 Hawthorn father son.... Still in the SA U16's state team Key defender already 195cm and won SA's best player through the carnivalPlus potential 2024 pick 1 Tyler Welsh waiting in the wings.
Wow. Is this likely, or is it the Keeler/Newchurch/Edwards could be number one picks, a few years out?Plus potential 2024 pick 1 Tyler Welsh waiting in the wings.
It depends if Thilthorpe ends up our ruck. What we really need is for Pedlar and one or 2 others to really have a big preseason and step up to become regulars in our side next year. The more young talent we can get into the midfield will mean that forward line gets the supply
Remember the reason McGovern was so good with us - he was the 4th wheel in that forward line and got the 4th best defender. Now with Thilthorpe, Fogarty, (fingers crossed) Rankine and Rachele - who gets the 4th best defender - and then you have McAdam who has X factor too, Gollant who looks a promising medium forward...things looking promising at that end of the ground for sure
Welsh is a key forward. McCabe is a defender.McCabe is looking more like the pick 1 Hawthorn father son.... Still in the SA U16's state team Key defender already 195cm and won SA's best player through the carnival
There has been talk of him being an early possible. It's hard this far out, and the top prospect at U16 rarely goes number 1.Wow. Is this likely, or is it the Keeler/Newchurch/Edwards could be number one picks, a few years out?
Plus potential 2024 pick 1 Tyler Welsh waiting in the wings.
Do yourself a favour and watch U16 this weekend. You are really getting ahead of yourself with Welsh.
I love it.
Deary deary me. the 5 second fireman can't resist the potshots and Kingy - if they want to play hardball, maybe the crows speculated $4 million over 5 years could be structured Year 1 - $1.5 million. Year 2 $ 1.5 million and then $500K for seasons 3 & 4...just to make absolutely sure he gets to us at our 1st rounder. I can't recall, but were you so concerned when we were bleeding topline players year in year out with many back to your home state?
Wow, some salty tears there. Just can't handle good news being attached to the Crows, the offended from the past must be unbearable. Go ahead and play hard ball, Rankine pits the high price on his head we are willing to pay that others wont and he gets to us through the preseason draft for free. What a dumb idea.

Kings worried if Rankine goes JHF is the next target and NM are left with egg and there face after turning down huge offers last year.King just wants him at North, for free.
Also have it on good authority from friends of Izak who played with him at Henley and go to the gold coast every year for his birthday, have said he wants to come to the crows, has told us he wants to come but have warned all the media attention it's getting currently is spooking him a bit, and is worried about the invasiveness of the Adelaide media.
Someone at The AFC has to get on to channel 9 and 7 and tell them to shut their trap on this until the deal is done.

Best bit is that these clowns don't have the smarts to realise they have contradictory comments on this sort of stuff all over the place.Someone with the twit machine tell King he is a hypocrite View attachment 1466550
Draft SA boys by and large recently and recruit others home..a sound longer term strategy if the talent level is thereThis list of recruits outside of the draft could well look pretty tidy in 2024...
2020 - Hately
2021 - Dawson
2022 - Rankine
2023 - JHF
