If Mitchell leaves the swans I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up there. Swans first with potential swap of later picks to get it done.

I think 5 & 23 for Steele & 7 could fly; values Steele at a late first rounder and Carlton don't lose much in their first round pick.
I reckon GWS would also do 5, 41 & 48 for Steele & 7; values him at pick 19 and Carlton keeps its second rounder and has an early first round pick.
I'm sure there will be other options after the first few days of trading.
Not yet convinced Steele will leave though.

attracting heavy interest from Victorian clubs and Port (according to our board on here).

.....

Attracting interest on our board. Haven't seen any mentions from anyone claiming to know anything behind the scenes

Who is Logan Austin ?

21 yr old 2nd yr 197 chb. Playing games this year and looking really promising. One of the better kicks I've seen for a bloke his size.

I think he will be traded to Sydney for their 2017 pick 18. Saves him having to move house/state as he already lives in the eastern suburbs and he comes to a contender, unlike going the Melbourne clubs who are chasing him.
Hahahaha pick 18...... You won't have pick 18 mate more like pick 12 - 15

Craig Cameron sounded more confident he would stay than any of the others when asked about all the out of contract players last week. If he didnt injure his hand he'd be in the team ahead of Reid.

What type of mid is he? Inside? Outside? Strengths and weaknesses?
He's a bit of a hybrid really, which seems to be one of the reasons he's struggled a little at GWS. They've got Shiel, Ward and Coniglio who can win the inside ball and Kelly, Whitfield and Scully to feed it to. I really think Steele will be a pretty complete midfielder though and whoever gets him should be pretty happy.

I think thats fair. Could easily see the tigers dropping to the bottom 4 next year.

Probably a little extra required.

Something like the garbage pick they get for Vickery or Ellis because a low 20's pick in isolation twelve months out (I know it's academy implications) seems unders for a guy as talented as Steel and one that's been in their system for 5 odd years.

FWIW not keen for Collingwood to get involved, but he does project nicely for mine and would be a fantastic addition to their mid group as someone to take the pressure off Cotchin down the track.

He'd do better to leave I think. He's more likely to develop quickly at another club, kudos to GWS for keeping a kid like him out, but like many young players - at some stage you have to make a choice about playing ressies or a senior spot...

Late first rounder (14-18) would be GWS asking price I'd think?

I recon every team has a board about Steele. Is he that good or does every club recon they can pick gems out the GWS neafl side for a second rounder?

Its good.

They used to have a board about Shiel, Treloar, Cameron and the rest of our core.

After the Boyd and Treloar deals, they have got used to the fact that it's the kids who arent part of our core are the ones their club should be going after.
