As things stand we have weakened our best 22 this pre season ( forcing Lake to retire) our depth is not as string as previous years and our highest draft choice is no 15.... Not liking the Jed deal unless we have something in the works.

Hartung is Sucklings replacement.

Duryea should take Suckers spot. Solid kick, but can also defend really well. No loss there at all. Then you have Lithers come in for Duryea and he has proven his ability to shut down small forwards - disposal needs work but so did that of Smith and Hill initially. We are OK losing Suckers.

Disappointed he's gone. I had him down in the next group of core players to take over the legends who will retire in the next few years.

I wouldn't have traded him, but then again if he wanted out. Best of luck to the lad.

Not sure why all the doom and gloomers re the Jed trade.
Apart from the 6 goal game late, he hardly pushed for selection. And if you watched the highlights of said game, a number of those goals kinda landed at his feet, not really the result of any kind of outstanding play......
I think many posters latched onto an idea of what kind of player Jed would become, and never accepted that it didn't transpire.

Happy to start fresh with pick 15, or happy to land Carlisle.
Either way, I think the list is freshened for next year.
