That highlight of him rebounding from the back half, kicking to the wing 👌

Immediately made me think he could be used as a Murray who can kick. His biggest knock is probably his height and we don't really know how he is defensively (in a one on one, etc.) but I wouldn't be surprised if he starts to show some form in the VFL over the next month.

Hey guys please excuse the intrusion. As a West Adelaide supporter I was hoping we would pick up John first seeing as Snelling has already had a shot at AFL and not succeeded. Plays mostly midfield goes and gets the ball and can kick a goal or two. Pretty sure that he will take this opportunity by the horns and become a good AFL footballer.

As a side note we are sitting bottom with one win and just lost two of our best players who have been averaging 60-65 possessions between per game with zero compensation from AFL HQ. Seems a rather cruel system tbh.

I’m sort of thinking he’s a Sam Murray replacement. Isn’t Sam due to find out his punishment in a few weeks and he’s asking for only 2 years instead of 4? Maybe the club already know he’s up for 4 and that they’re gonna chop him?

Could be completely off the mark, but just a thought anyway.
I agree and was thinking the same thing re Murray replacement.

If there is cruelty and it’s carlton or Essendon we’ll cope.

:eek::p

Most certainly will help. In terms of our VFL players Gallucci and Wellings look the quickest; the others not so much.

Keane would be the most recently recruited, with Treloar, Hoskin-Elliott, Adams and Murphy all having a hint or more of red

I don’t think his height will be an issue tbh. If anything, he’ll be a perfect match up for those speedy small forwards who’ve always had a knack for cutting us up, provided his defensive game is up to scratch.

Went to the very first Collingwood / Crows match over there and FMD!! Talk about inbred fans :rolleyes:
There is an absolute expectation that if you live here then you must barrack for them. They are the most mindless un football educated fans who just want to call "ball" everytime an oppo player gets it. My wife refuses to go to their games after she nearly had her eyes scratched out after telling a lady to pull her head in and not bag her own players (crows). Funny thing is my wife lost a bet to barrack for Essendon for a season and she just never went back. Now she absolutely hates the Crows.

Will watch his development with interest as to where we see him playing. Attributes lend themselves to a variety of positions but size wise he's not that far away from a Toby McLean or Zac Fisher type so even at his current size he could impact.

Sorry but I'll never respect any club with less pedigree than me. That's all the interstate clubs.

My favourite story about the Crows being football bogans is when Kym Koster moved back from Victoria to play for them. Plays an absolute ripping game, unanimously best on ground. When leaving, he gets to his car, which has been heavily vandalised because it still has Victorian plates on it.

Jesus. And Noble makes it 6 rangas. We're stuffed.

And even worse, it's going to be slim pickings on the father-son front - no-one wants to breed with a ranga.

We better dim the lights and turn down the heat lamps.
