Fair enough, l thought when he had all that weight he would not see this year out.
But you still thought he’d at least make it past draft time?

;)

Another mid size light weight. I want someone to put the fear of <deity of choice> in the opposition for a change.
Hibernating

He strikes me as Ben Sinclair 2.0 but with better kicking. Goes at a crazy high DE this year and has serious pace, I reckon we will see him as a rebounding small defender.

He goes and reviews all his games in his own time so sounds like the type of kid who will do everything to make it. Hope he does
Fair enough. Hope he does well for clubs sake and his sake

Do you think he'll help the VFL side also? How have wee looked for pace in the twos?
Most certainly will help. In terms of our VFL players Gallucci and Wellings look the quickest; the others not so much.

I'm going out on a limb and saying our last redhead was Jack Frost.

Some might say he was blonde but I'm not buying it. There's definite ginger in there.

Keane would be the most recently recruited, with Treloar, Hoskin-Elliott, Adams and Murphy all having a hint or more of red

So much hand wringing that we didn't claim a KPP

FFS there were no decent KKP's available at around our pick from reports

Speed
Endurance
Good disposal

All list needs and increasingly so as our mids are aging quickly now.

His 'faults' are his light frame and being sub 6 foot ???

FMD

I too was an asthmatic as a kid and have always had to overcome the same unthinking bias - that short and slight means easily pushed aside.

Never let ANYONE do that to me and I'd be surprised if young John does considering the hurdles he has already got over with courage.

Not hard to guess what his name denotes, but I did it anyway.:)

From ancestry.com:

Noble Name Meaning. English, Scottish, and Irish (of Norman origin); also French: nickname from Middle English, Old French noble 'high-born', 'distinguished', 'illustrious' (Latin nobilis), denoting someone of lofty birth or character, or perhaps also ironically someone of low station.

An obvious fit for our illustrious Pies.

So you’re saying John Noble is really Jon Snow?

Here`s little Johnny be good be good be good Johnny I only like dreaming all day long, when no one is running, Welcome to Collingwood young man , I can sense you will give your all to the Mighty Black and White,, Are you gonna kick the winning goal Johnny ? yep yep
Can't wait for him to arrive at HC and see our men at work.

I really like this pick. Varcoe and Wells are likely to need replacing at the end of the year. Sidebottom, Pendles, Beams, Mayne, Thomas not far after being 28 plus Wills/Broomhead may not be at pies much longer. For those worried about key position players we have Lynch, Keane, Tohill, Wilson and Kelly as development projects. No one really stood out so why get a key position list clogger. Mids 23 and under we need for long term.

I’m sort of thinking he’s a Sam Murray replacement. Isn’t Sam due to find out his punishment in a few weeks and he’s asking for only 2 years instead of 4? Maybe the club already know he’s up for 4 and that they’re gonna chop him?

Could be completely off the mark, but just a thought anyway.
