Good lord I imagine If didn’t rate like half of them. I was one of the ONLY posters on this board in 2017 who rated our list above Richmond’s. The premier.

So spare me.

Perhaps the issue isn't that you don't rate three players but the fact that you may be repeating it in threads other than those of the three players.

Anyway for mine, welcome to John, from the video clips, looks like a quick player, good hands and kick, good on both sides of the body, and like Apex36 I too thought of Murray's role.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained and doubt that the cost would be high.

Happy to wait and see.

Looks longer term to me. Much needed pace to our list. Going on the snippets of footage, which is admittedly a ridiculous thing to be going on, he could be developed as a mid, small forward or even running defender. Hopefully he can play.

Looks like most clubs went with a younger talent they can develop rather than an immediate player. Carlton obviously wanted someone to help them straight away... Haha

If l was Carlton recruiter l would too, they don’t know how to develop kids at all.

I've been on these boards since 2010 premiership, you always defer to the negative, it's in your nature. My suggestion, enjoy the ride, especially while we have a team you rate so highly. Stop looking for scapegoats and people to put down. This is the time to enjoy footy, we have a legitimate shot at being premiers in the next couple of years!!

It does make more sense looking at him as a potential speedy bank flanker... replacing what Murray was supposed to do and if Quaynor doesn't get ready in time. If he rips apart the VFL I can see him maybe getting a game on the back flank.
