I had to re-read "irrepressible" again as I thought you typed "irresponsible"

Along with Brodie I think he will be our most important player from here on.

It's a pretty exciting time to be a Pies fan. A fair few guys with elite potential. Treloar is another with the potential to develop into a top 10 in the AFL player. Sidebottom is arguably already there. Then you've got exciting newbies like Stephenson and Sier who appear to have enormous ceilings. Darcy Moore may one day click and make the most of his awesome attributes.

The word 'irrepressible' comes to mind with JDG. He's confident. He's got a bit of a swagger. He knows he's capable of great things.

Let him enjoy his break, and his growing fame, and then put his head down and his bum up for the pre-season and get himself primed to dominate in 2019.

Good thing as well I guess is he is Hanging out with Teammates and not his Mates;)

Have to admit I was a critic like many (except for Apex who nails it every time) but now reminds me a lot like the aura Millane had.

This would have been a good post if you could get over your fixation with potting Apex.

IMO the only player I think worthy of wearing number 42.......even if some posters think that him wearing that number after drink driving is sacrilege.

P.S Take it easy with the Apex36 snipes........we get your point now.

Don’t blame his mates Dave........as you grow up you have to own your mistakes.

I think he grew up in 2018.

Thanks should also go to the tough love shown by the club.

Jordan learnt from it though.
I play golf with some Salvo's and they heard from Brendan Nottle that he had taken Jordan under his wing when the club sent him there. They had heard a lot of good things about Jordan’s progress direct from the top, not just what we read in the paper.

Going against the grain here. But I lay some of the blame for outer GF loss at DG’s feet.
Have a look at our forward thrust immediately before they scored the winner.
The ball was turned over in our F50 to DG’s opponent, with him trailing by 15 metres, then giving up any semblance of a chase and tackle.
It’s all there on the tape if you dare.

Agreed, that single moment was the only mistake from any player for the game.

It wasn't a great moment for him I agree, but there were multiple things that caused the loss that was just one of them.

You’re right. The awful f50 entry from Treloar had nothing to do with McGoverns easy intercept mark, it was all JDG’s fault that the ball was kicked nowhere near where he was going.

IF we really want to split hairs WHE not shepherding Cripps so that Treloar could straighten up might have had something to do with the kick falling short...

This kid has all the tools to go on to become the competitions best. Even Dusty, arguably the competitions current best, has never shown as much up forward as DeGoey already has. He’s a mercurial player. Those bombs off one step from outside 50 are Buddy-esque. A new and improved prototype for a modern forward/mid. If he can maintain or even improve that area of his game, plus is allowed to do more consistently what he did in the midfield on Queens Birthday... Look out. Let’s hope he kicks on and gets somewhere near his seemingly limitless ceiling.

Confirmed. It’s all WHE’s fault that we lost.

The usual suspects naturally defending the indefensible.
I expected nothing less.
I was never going to be disappointed....
Seemed to me that people were saying there were many reasons for the loss. Perhaps you are looking for something that isn’t there?
