Just a little side comment. We know Kerr is one of those rough/strong take them on type players and it is entertaining to watch... but.. did anyone see the white shirt he was wearing on the TV news coverage as he was walking away from the court? I've never seen a footballer look more stereotypically "gay" (at least not on purpose). Kinda odd choice for him, or is that the style these days? Guess when you're that built you can get away with wearing anything.

I don't like to get into the players' private lives too much, they're young blokes and will do stupid things. Hopefully they will pay for them appropriately, taking into account provocation etc. and hopefully they learn from their experiences.

Every club has nongs getting up to trouble, I think the Eagles get more of the limelight (and as a Pie fan I can sympathise). If Cousins farts it ruffles sports pages over here.

I hope Kerr can get things under control, he's getting into the realms of Fevola now with public silliness. If this is how he deals with life while his footy's going well, then I hope he doesn't have to deal with too many hard times. He's got time to grow up and get straight.

If he needs a break from the spotlight I'm sure we could find a place for him at Collingwood.

Maybe check out those frills, tight fit and large open V front. Admitably it doesn't like as bad in this picture as it did with him in motion on the TV, but yeah. I'm not saying Kerr is gay, because I really don't know if he is or isn't. If I had to guess I would say he isn't. But it is obvious that the look is kind of "gay" in the stereotypical "gay" way. But yeah, I'm no expert.

I'm biased about Freos jumpers though, I think they are the best in the AFL at the moment (all of our strips). Purple for the win! Though I'm sure you meant some kind of offense at the whole purple thing, oh well.

Footballers are only human and for some reason you think that just because there good at sport this means they have to act better than everyone else.
The only reason any of this is made to be an issue is because the media dont get paid without a story.

Footballers are a protected species and yes sometimes they are targeted but at the end of the day the majority of them are ********ers who have been spoon fed since they are 14 and don't know how to act in public.

Please provide some examples of footballers getting preferential treatment from the courts.... i.e. examples where a "normal citizen" would have received a jail term but a footballer got off because of his football.

Ok, my statement is dramatic but at the end of the day footballers get looked after. Sorry I don't have a factual example of this preferential treatment at the moment i'll just have to duck back to my chambers. But Mr Take Text Literally has'nt the WCE paid off the cab driver that kerr assaulted. I could drivel on all day with you and bring up example after example but if you cannot see that footballers are looked after then you my friend are nothing but a blind kretin!!!

That aside, there is no evidence (other than speculation on BF) that West Coast have paid off anyone and there comments re Kerr strongly suggest otherwise.

Your lack of accountability suggests you are talking out of your arse. Again.

There is no doubt that footballers get the best available representation (as would anyone with money) and this no doubt helps them get the best possible outcome. This best possible outcome is available to most people who can afford it - but thats a different issue.

The assertion that footballers are treated better by, say, judges is laughable and unable to be supported by evidence - it is simply a baseless prejudice.

When I was playing junior sports at school and on weekends our coaches used to tell us if you want to be a professional sportsman you have to make sacrifices.

Now people try and defend lowlife scum like this bloke picking on nurses in a hospital.

I can not imagine other sportsmen like Grant Hackett, Danny Green etc being like Kerr on the piss.

Most hospitals I have been to visiting hours finish at 9pm, not 11.30pm.

I suppose that is what you get when you mix roids, coke and piss.
