Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

The trouble was that TK sent out an email yesterday about failed attempt to take payment, the fine print said no recourse. They never let us know they were going to attempt to take payment again this morning.

I swear I've never heard of them doing it before and they've been enforcing the no recourse approach previously, it might be a change for this year.

It’s a reasonable level of cynicism; however I’m still a debutant due to not posting anything on here since 2015 (combination of forgetting a password & working at a different club until recently)
Dyed in the wool lion- former royboys tragic. Any ticket heading my way results in me going. Otherwise hope you who are heading to the G have a day as good as the one 20 years ago against this mob!

Bookmark (or favourites) this link below on your PC and you won't have a problem
At the top you can turn section Map to "on"
Or just put in the section number then click on the row closest to what you want
I will see if i can work out how to sticky it to top of page Edit: Can't see how to do it. only see just a poll.
So, mods maybe have to do it if they feel it is warranted.

Would really like to know how the seat allocations were done, given many of us were priority 1 but are spread all over. And whether the fact that Collingwood supporters got the result of their ballot a day before us had any impact on our allocations.

I'm trying to work out if the Lions took all 17k of their allocation, anyone know of P3 people who were just flat-out unsuccessful for reasons other than card issues or not accepting standing room?

This is just general curiosity - I know for the Swans we've had two grand finals where the whole allocation was used and a few missed out, and two grand finals where members didn't quite take them all and there was either a second ballot for the last few hundred (2012) or the remainders were just given to the opponent (2016).

I am a die-hard fan who used to post here but busy life takes it's toll. I have no hope of getting a ticket now but just posting here in case someone is unable to go on GF day. I live in Melbourne so all I need is ticket to make a roar on GF day. Also, not a scalper!!

I have no time for people who claim to be ‘die hard’ supporters, and come out of the woods happy to spend $$$$ for a GF ticket, when the time suits them. Facebook Lions groups are littered with them. Yes that may come across as blunt but that’s my stance.

Yeah I think so. I’m M2 expecting it to be in the sun for most the game. There might be a point where the sun dips below the grandstand later in the day, but that whole south east side will be pretty directly into it.

Great seats though, and sounds like that’s the lions cheer squad end.

I just booked flights from Perth. Had to extend my stay in Melbourne by +2 days to avoid paying 1.5k+.
Ridiculous for a domestic flight.

Yeah I had a look after the game at Subiaco Hotel and it was only $750 return. It’s now astronomical, still worth it though if I can track one or two down!
