What would you know, you're an eagles supporter

He's actually pretty spot on. Foster has played 32 league games in 3 years, of these 19 came in 2007. The guy has just turned 24 and has suffered through injury pretty heavily these last 2 years.

Thank you for highlighting my identity crisis. Mods there is another 'the doc' out there and he is taking over my life! Please get him to change names as I feel so dirty:mad:

I will get you kp! If it wasn't for the dog and those meddling kids (takes off mask and scowls at Scooby Doo)....

These list changes wouldnt be final would they? I mean theres still Murphy, BoB and Foster who should go

Not by a long way.

I think most of the newbies will be on the rookie list replacing the promotions of pearce , broughton, De boer, Van berlo + 3 complusory picks in ND + the possible pick(s)??? for murphy, tarrant, peake & drum which could be on traded for youngsters from other clubs looking for increased opportunities at aclub with a "youth focus".

they should only promote two this year and then next year up grade as many as they like as our first pick will probably be in the teens in next years draft . This year i expect us to take on 5 in the national draft and 4 in the rookie draft, hopefully re-rookie pratt

To continue to play de Boer, Pearce and Broughton next year, we only need to upgrade the one. One will go on as a nominated rookie, the other for Ruffles who will move onto the long term injury list, come round 11 we can bring through VB or another rookie who deserves to be promoted

Settle down people. There was no room for Pratt on the senior list, especially after the signings of Headland and Soloman.

As long as he makes it through the NATIONAL draft(which I think he will). He can be pre-listed ahead of the Rookie Draft, once this is done none of the other clubs can touch him and we can take him with our last selection(s) in the RD.

All falling into place imo

Weagles have to make the same decision with Wilson.

Yeah, i'd say these are just the decisions that would have been made weeks ago. Murphy is still contracted so we'll try to flog him off to another club to avoid paying out all his contract (albeit with only a 2% chance of success). I reckon we'll keep one of Foster and BoB.

I have a very bad feeling that Pratt will be drafted by someone else. Epic bad. This is not a risk we should be taking.

It is possible however that if some of our targets for late picks fall through, we could take him late in the National Draft in order to make sure everyone keeps their filthy hands off him.

I think that Pratt and Connelly were de-listed out of necessity more than any other reason.
You'd think Connelly would be gone for good, but they'd think that Pratt isn't ready to be elevated to the main squad so they have to de-list him with the plan of picking him up in the rookie draft again.

Harvey has shown this year that's he fairly big on giving players chances to prove themselves and all the players that have been cut (Bar Connelly and Pratt to an extent) have had that opportunity.
If he's going to go down that path, Brock O'Brien might get one more year as he hasn't had the proper chance to prove himself due to injury.

It'll be an interesting one to see though.

Question: Can Adam Campbell be Traded during Trade Week if he has been Delisted already?

There is another article in thewest about Brett Peake possibly requesting a trade.

Article in The Worst this morning says BoB has signed a one year deal which could be announced as early as today, while Des is close to signing a one year deal also.

Headland is on the cusp of signing for another year while O'Brien's 12-month extension is expected to be made public today. O'Brien's season was sabotaged by a recurring thigh injury but it is understood he has resumed running and anticipates he will be ready to join the squad when pre-season training starts in two months.

Also says that Peake definitely wants out - seems he chucked the mega-sads after being dropped mid-season for his piss-up.

Peake and Fremantle have had a strained relationship since the mid-season break when the club suspended him for an alcohol-related breach of discipline.

Brisbane is mentioned as a possible Peake-Dalziell swap. If we could manage that it would be daylight robbery. We'd even get someone who runs in a straight line!

Who are we going to bag next year? Seems like Dodd and Thornton might be the only remaining members of the gang.
