Tippett gets his coin and also gives Sydney a much needed KPF (Reid not exactly proven yet). Adelaide gets a local defender who will give them much needed experience. Someone like LRT will replace Grundy down back.

Oh, and it wouldn't be pick 22. It would be a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
Id be surprised if Adelaide would be happy with that

Crows would definitely want pick 22 plus a good younger player. I dunno - Parker?
I dont think they would let Parker go they rate him very highly at the Swans but when you look at it if a deal is going to get done its going to have to be someone like him who gets traded.

Parks looks to be our best up and coming midfielder.

So it's definitely pick 13 but the AFL wont announce until after FA? Or is it pure speculation/hope that its pick 13?

Saints have pick #12 in the draft. Tier 1 compensation is a 1st round draft pick directly after your exisiting pick, hence pick #13.

I'm not sure a side like Sydney, who base their gameplan around a strong defense, would be wanting to give up a defender for a KPF.

Tippett for grundy is a fair trade , Tippett has never really had an absolute stand out year and Grundy is a good consistent defender
Tippett is def worth much more than Grundy, there would have to be a first round draft pick along with Reg, bare minimum.

I'm not too sure how much we could offer him, but if Wellingham and Dawes both go, that would free up around 450-500k. Dane Swan onto veterans list which adds another 100k we can use. Looks like we will delist Cameron Wood, who would be on around 200k. If all goes to plan, we could have around 700k to throw at Tippett.

I'm not sure what the Swans can offer Adelaide either, especially if we are able to offer picks 17 & 18 (if Wellingham goes to WC). I suppose GC are in the box seat if it's about money and homesickness though.

You have to replace players if you delist them. You cant simply delist 6 bloke and free 600k you have to replace them. There is no chance Tippet can fit under AFL rules.

There has been some talk of Wellingham for Griffin trade.

I am not sure who is the winner if it was a straight swap, Griffin performed well this year when sandilands was out, as did Wellingham.

FYI - I am not suggesting a straight swap is fair.

Chucking it out there...thoughts?

Gold Coast:
Receive Kurt Tippett

Adelaide:
Receive pick 4 or pick 6

Melbourne/Bulldogs:
Receive Josh Caddy & unactivated GC compo pick.

I think they would be happy to spear Reg and replace him with Spanger or LRT if it meant getting Tippett. Reid and Tippett would be quite potent!

I'm not sure that Jonathan Griffin going to Collingwood, he just want to say in his home state or does he?

Players id like to trade for that would come reasonably cheap
Brisbane- Banfield
Carlton-Gartlett
Collingwood-Goldsack
Bombers-Pears, Jetta
Fremantle-Broughton, Griffin, Lower
Cats-M Brown
Suns-Toy
Hawks-Ellis,Savage
Dees-Cook,Pettard,Tapscott
North-Greenwood
Port-Jacobs,Thomas,Pittard
Tigers-Vickery
Saints-Stanley
West Coast-M Brown,Hurn, Stevens
Bulldogs-Howard

Can't speak for the other clubs, but you would have to give a truck load of love to the Saints to get your hands on Stanley. He is not going anywhere, nor would Saints consider trading him. He is a very valuable part of our future.
