Tom Morris declared as fact on Monday night that Hunter was dropped and wouldn’t play. He was wrong. He reported it wrong. It wasn’t a story worth burning relationships over even if it had been right. He broke it like it was Watergate.

Sadly the execution wasn’t the most polished, but some of this crap Fox are coming up with on footy is deplorable. On the Couch the other night spent a quarter of the show talking about some song based rivalry between the Dogs and Demons, it should barely rate any more than one line and a chuckle.

1. He has a leak
2. The club is fickle
3. Minor things can unhinge the club
