In 2019,Nank missed 11 games due to groin injury,,,chol and Soldo, rucked together in most of those 11 games, chol was more than ok in those games,,Soldo was a little more physically mature, so he teamed with nank in the last 7 games
2 years on Nank is going to miss about 4- 6 games, this time there's no Soldo and no lynch
Mabs is going to be our number 1 ruck for these games without Nank, this i think will bring out the best in Mabs and he will become a very good ruck and end up staying at Richmond, for another 2/3 years,, ( Soldo might struggle again next year with his knee)
Samson is to inexperienced, and mate might be a few years away
So we need to hang onto Mabs
If ccj gets a great offer from another club great ,the draft pick we hopefully get for him will be a first rounder, giving us 3 picks in first round a great position to be in

The next 6 weeks will give Richmond a very good look and idea of the value to Richmond of both Chol & Cj
6 week block of games with both playing dual roles and their ability to Ruck/Fwd and we will know what to offer each player in contract and length

If he fails miserably the list of clubs enquiring will be much fewer you’d imagine.

Dont think that will be the case
No team would be looking at Chol to become the #1 ruckman at any team , He will be looked at as a 2nd ruck tall foward option
Just 24 years old and coming into his prime years (25-31) and a late comer to football he is getting better every year and is still on the upward trajectory
200cm and 94 kgs now and probably has another 5kgs to add to be competitive against the likes of Grundy/gawn/Goldstein etc
and have seen his 2nd 3rd efforts improving and i think this guys is 12 months away from taking the next step

What the hell are you talking about? Compare how many AA selections Richmond gets compared to other successful eras like Hawthorn, Geelong & Brisbane
Look at the AA teams in progress this year and people have half the Melbourne team in the side, back in Geelong's era they had around 8-10 players in some years. Even in 2018 when Richmond finished on top of the ladder by 2 games clear, we still only got 4 players and tools on here still think Shane Edwards shouldn't have got picked.

Had his moments though, wasnt disgraced.
Yeah he was well beaten as expected. Not sure he'll play #1 ruck again unless nankervis isnt ready to go V saints.
Certainly a very handy 2nd ruck. Should get a couple of looks at him as 2nd ruck/3rd forward before lynch comes back. I reckon that's his best spot.

I think for a 2nd ruck he acquitted himself well.
He often starts well but fades. Needs to be addressed.
