But he felt better, so with 5 minute's in 1st qtr left and GWS dominating we decided to drive the 25minutes to the stadium to watch the inevitable victory.
It was a bit annoying we allowed 5 goals in row in 3rd qtr, but still won that qtr. Get 3 goals in a row, 5 goals up in last qtr, what could possibly go wrong?

For a so called role player there’s quite a bit of interest in this thread. The same will go at club land with many teams looking for an inside mid.

He’ll go for a second round pick, probably late 20s. So essentially a mid to late 2nd rounder.

It’s not like we are pushing him out. He wants to leave for more midfield opportunity and this has been stated by Mitch Cleary. If we don’t get that 2nd round pick he will still be a best 22 player next year and contribute more than a junk late pick would for us. If we do let him go for peanuts then yeah, I’d buy into the salary cap being an issue. But until then, I don’t see us moving him for any less than a pick in the 20s. As with all of these things I reserve judgement until I see the outs vs ins.

I rate him, midfielders that can find there own footy and also kick goals are hard to come by. Unfortunately for Carlton they have no leverage here and they will at best get a very late second/early third rounder for him. Tigers, Dees and Saints should all be having a crack.

Carlton will take what they can get, if the best offer is pick 45 for example then that's what they'll take. A west coast future third could be pick 40, so not the worst offer.
