I know you are referring to the delusional moronic group here...

But in a way it is totally against them, in the same way Rucci is totally against us. Because by blindly supporting and covering stuff up, and not asking hard questions or applying any sort of pressure, they are hurting the cows more than anybody else.

Got to remember that this century, there are only three clubs that have performed worse than them: Norf, Carlton and Gold Coast. They sit on the same level as GWS and Fremantle (1 runner up appearance). Norf and Carlton can at least to their credit claim to be genuinely dominant teams in the 90s, with Carlton being the equal second most successful club of all time. So really they are sitting at a similar output to GWS, Gold Coast and Fremantle, the three newest clubs... two of them starting from scratch with very little funding or support.

In addition to that their off-field stuff I'd say is now league worst. When added to the camp and stance, the Tex incident has put them even below Essendon for the most toxic and awful off-field performance.

For a team with their supporter base, financial backing, membership base, and fans attendance, that's absolutely shocking and speaks to a long line of mistakes and incompetence. They should be in the firing line. But they aren't. They have cushy deals with the media who will wash over everything as long as they are finishing ahead of Ports on the ladder and winning showdowns. Its like when Kane and Rucci defend Hinkley so he will do favours for them, except at a much wider, larger scale.

and loooooooooong may it continue :)

F. Me. Now Graeme 'Elite' Goodings is trending!! And his tinder profile has just gone off.

Expect his first move if elected will be to get the club to introduce a new line of personally designed cardigans and bedroom loungewear for the Crow Shop called 'The Goodings' range, embossed with the initials GG.

What's the odds 'Lindy' is our friend and former adult performer Linda Loades.

"Vax-hesitant" lmao what a term.
It actually is a term I've heard before used by immunologists and health authorities but in relation to mostly aged and indigenous and NESB communities where mistrust of authorities and a fear and misunderstanding of the science of vaccines is pretty common.

But absolutely not a term relevant to anti vaxxers like UniSA academic and former Crows board member Nick Takos.

The Advertiser gilding the lily so as to not upset the crow faithful.

The Murdoch media has hit a new low. Is the fact that the Melbourne Premiership Coach gave the club doctor a spray really worthy of front page news complete with coloured photos? Two days in a row ffs, have these tossers got nothing better to write about? Of course in typical Murdoch style Goodwin is described as a 'Crows legend' rather than a Melbourne Premiership Coach. I would happily settle for our Coach giving a few people a spray then holding up a Premiership Cup in the aftermath.

Melbourne have responded to the press speculation and Goodwin's position was not under threat and he certainly isn't going anywhere so move on.

This is the sort of sensationalised crap you would expect to see all over the front cover of the New Idea or the Women's Weekly. Of course the story would not be anywhere if the poor aggrieved Doctor had not decided to go the wrongful dismissal route. Geez, what has it come to every time someone cops a spray from a footy Coach it ends up in court?

Goodwin is no angel and he had his personal issues over the years but the footy club is happy, the players are happy so move on Rupert and find something else to report about.

Women's Weekly and New Idea have far more substance than our national rags

How dare a newspaper based in Adelaide refer to a Camry Crows' HOF inductee as a "Crows legend".

You miss the point entirely. The story is not about a Crow player but about the Coach of the Melbourne football Club. The incident occured within the confines of the Melbourne Football Club so why are the Crows even relevant?

Yer, stop trying to derail the thread, Steve Dore

How does a non employee, ie the doctor, get a six figure payout if things are 100% fine?

Yes, you would think the Doctor would be satisfied with that payout. How does a non employee sue for unfair dismissal? Maybe the journos would be better employed trying to dig up some answers to those questions.

It's you who is missing the point. The story is about Simon Goodwin.

I tend to agree. He just won a premiership for a Vic team so that is where the headline should be concentrated.

But, just as Ports are seen as second-class class in SA, so the Crows are seen as second-class by the Vic media.

I'm just enjoying the Crowvertiser giving their team a serve for a change.

They did it for clicks, as with everything to do with media. The headline that says "Crows" in The Advertiser is going to get more clicks than "Melbourne". Plus they get the added sharing/coverage of this by irate people who are upset by the headline.

Easiest of games for the media.
