This is the same club that has (or had) a 24 hour rule on games.

Crows social media circa 2014
"The 24-hour rule now in place, huge week ahead with our first home game at Adelaide Oval on Saturday and our SANFL debut on Sunday #gocrows"
"24 hours after a result, you move on to the next game"

I'm Eddie McGuire and my opinion on everything about football is more important than everyone's.

I've never been much of a fan of Sam McClure, but good on him.

One positive of this no football period is it has shone a spotlight even brighter on Eddie Everywhere's shitarse influence on football.

Once again this is the same shit head hypocrite Eddie McGuire who got all holier-than-thou over a journalist interviewing Alex Fasolo because of Fasolo's known mental health issues.

Different rules for Collingwood players hey Fat Head?

One thing McGuire touched on that he's right about is football journos are way too close to their subjects.

But it's the clubs and particularly the AFL administration and its power structures not individual miscreants that need much harder scrutiny. McGuire's influence over the game should be top of the list along with the broadcasters. He's a massive hypocrite when it come to his own club and accountability though.

Yes, but he is the doyen of that nonsense, especially with his Collingwood players, the hypocrisy is what is astounding.

As for Stevens, as far as we can tell he is the VICTIM of a stabbing not the perpetrator, and if some ****er is going to stab you, sometimes that person is likely to do worse (or have mates that will do worse) if you dob them in. Will Eddie protect Stevens? The law certainly can't.

Are you shouting at me 😁. My point is the football media is too incestuous and it allows the sort of power and influence that McGuire yields over the game, to happen without scrutiny. Even someone who writes fairly fearlessly about football politics like Caro Wilson is compromised by being on a show with him. And yes his hypocrisy is galling.

No better time to bring up Port wearing it’s rightful jumper.

Why are we so timid to demand it, always talk about it likes it’s a special surprise.....

If Eddie becomes Gills replacement start a new league with all the interstate teams.

Dermott Brereton is insufferable. He literally takes 3 minutes to ask a question. It’s some faux attempt at sounding smart.
