I never saw anything wrong with the Tweet. I thought we usually did Tweet info if player X was going to the tribunal after a hit on one of our players. If anything they probably didn't need to post the photo of the actual incident. Other than that I thought it was usual social media activity.

went very hard at the club today for not showing physicality against DeGoey on his podcast. Described it as insipid and shows a complete lack of culture and willingness to support team mates. I tend to agree with the sentiment.

It's not as if they made any statements on the incident, or expressed any opinions of either the act or the decision to send it to the tribunal.

Just a simple statement of fact...
the DeGoey incident with Elijah Hewett has been referred directly to the tribunal.
Fact. No more, no less.

If they had said
'that dog Jordan DeGoey has been referred directly etc.' or added an opinion after the statement of fact such as 'he deserves at least 8 weeks for that'.
then there would have been a case to apologise. But making a simple statement of fact is no more than the AFL announcing the decision to go direct to the tribunal, or FoxFooty reporting that fact.

Weak as piss by the club.

JDG was cited for his hit on Elijah Hewett. He was referred directly to the tribunal. Hewett left the field and did not return due to concussion.
