I still don't understand what we did wrong, aside from not flying the flag more at the time.
Sheeds comments were in the ballpark of the suspension and the Eagles tweeted about the tribunal which, despite what people say, does have a lot to do with them as they'll be involved in the process with evidence.

i am not too unhappy about the social stuff that the club did in putting the boot into De goey and Sheed saying what he did.I suspect the apology is more to placate the Afl who don't want coaches to comment on such matters let alone clubs or players.I also suspect it had to be said due to the weak response on the field.Yes we had to apologise but at least we let Degoey know what a snipe he is and hopefully he gets more than three weeks.
