Really need to be passing 50 and setting our sights on 55-60K and a move to the MCG to keep up (and stay) in the big club group.

Like all the big Melb clubs.. onfield success will see membership go crazy.. Nothing like a few finals, a premiership and the chance of winning every time you play to bring the more flippant punters through the gates..!!

Well done to EFC and all our supporters though.. to have such a good total and show of support despite the 'events' of the last month or so.. good to see we are self imploding like a certain political party (former) that we know...

50,000 is no where near guaranteed.

Hosting ANZAC day this year will be a big moment for memberships as the club can advertise buying memberships as the only way to guarantee you a seat at the game.

If we can somehow stumble into round 5 undefeated, then yeah 50,000 will be a real goal.
