Re: Membership Counter

True this but it is also quite ironic...

Those supporters who really did only jump on board last year because of the hype and have jumped 'off board' this year due to the crap year we had in 2009 actually have it arse about!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but surely it is going to be much more rewarding to sign-up now at the start of a new era that is more likely to bring improvement over time and ultimate success rather than again try to time their one membership every few years with a particular season in the future.

Get on board now Tigers!

Absolutely correct. I for one am totally accepting of the fact aht we won't get anywhere near last years membership numbers which were only a couple of thousand off 50,000. No way will we get 40,000 paid up. That is whee we are.

However the big thing is what is happening in the team. We do look like a serious planning and forward thinking outfit for once. Beat the Blues and who knows?

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

MadTiger you Prog Fool.

Bought my Membership this week....Seeing you started this Membership witch hunt.....use your crayons and mark me down in your book.

AFL Membership - Club Support Tiges.
AFL keeps a whack....and slings the Tiges a normal membership on my behalf.
450 Clams ($)

I now refuse to pay any earlier, (eventhough the AFL threatens late payment BS) cause those buggers bank the money over Xmas...do nothing with it and rake in the interest. It hurts Richmond getting my money earlier....but I hate the AFL more. They want your money in Nov, December. And when they can get off their lazy arses, weeks later you get a plastic card.

Smooth as cat shit, the ol AFL.

;)

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

Just tried to become a member and the bloody website is acting all crazy..

Error Messages:
All member information must be complete prior to check out

All member info is complete, I couldn't possibly put anymore info in there..

I tried!!

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

Just posted my membership to the club today! Guess that means i'll receive my card in about a month... Went the reserved seating option this year, as I was sick of not being allowed to sit on level 1 at the g' or etihad, when there was only 20k there!! Absolute scum are the AFL and Stadium Managers! But at least the extra coin I have paid went to the club.
Membership = + 1 MT

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

Our figure is equivalent to last years figure 2 weeks prior to this date. The fact that we started this campaign 2 weeks later than the last one does count for something. There are plenty who haven't paid for their membership yet who had paid by this time last year

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

I'm yet to sign up. I was thinking about making to the trip to Punt Rd and watching the boys train when I have a day off. I'll sign up then.

I read somewhere that we are 4k+ behind last years figure at a similar time. This would seem accurate to me given the Cousins hype. Are you sure we are on a par with last years numbers, even allwing for a two week lag?

MT is an optimist, will always put a positive spin on things including making up figures and "facts" as he sees it

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

Who would North bother being a club? Honestly....I've seen Div 4 EFL teams with more cash....and members...and general following.

Re: Membership Watch Thread.

Looks like the Pies have really managed to get to their vast fanbase and get them to buy the memberships. They are miles ahead of last year.

I like to see the kind of figures they and the Hawks are getting because it shows that when we fire membership sales will explode because our passive hiden fanbase is on a par with Collingwoods if ( IF ! ) we manage to get going.
