Hey i did kick 3 goals in a lightning carnival at Salisbury oval in the first Qtr and then got dragged so the coaches son could come on.BMT, 240 never has a day as quiet as that!
I guess that last one was wrong, only two needed.Come back in three years.
Oh yeah, but I've been copping shit about wanting to trade out Lobbe during the trading period all day, so I thought I'd try a ride on the hindsight express myself. Are you really claiming that this proves your whingeing that this was a bad decision to be right? What an utterly ridiculous thing to say.
Hopefully Gus & Paddy will still be able to socialise with teammates & coaching staff etc during this ban. It's not like it's an automatic restraining order?!?
FTFYJust barred from sporting premises and sporting functions afaik.
This is gonna hurt triple-hard when Monfries' future stock serves as Steph Curry to his Dell.
What's he stuck on at the moment ??
Personally I really don't like the look of that Hitler chap.Oh yeah, but I've been copping shit about wanting to trade out Lobbe during the trading period all day, so I thought I'd try a ride on the hindsight express myself.
To be fair, nobody knew this ban was even a remote possibility when we got Monfries, whereas it was a very real possibility when we looked at picking up Ryder. Heck, we used the whole debacle as leverage for him to walk out on his contract.Oh yeah, but I've been copping shit about wanting to trade out Lobbe during the trading period all day, so I thought I'd try a ride on the hindsight express myself.
Therefore the hindsight argument doesn't apply to the Lobbe as that was explicitly considering the risk of losing Ryder to sanctions.
There doesn't need to be consensus. I for one didn't think Ryder would actually miss any games, in that any possible suspension would be back dated and balanced by provisional bans. However I still recognised there was a chance of losing him for some time if the bans were heavier, and I absolutely was against the risk of replacing Lobbe with some plodder simply to get some draft pick, as we were looking at a genuine premiership assault in 2015 and 2016.Only if you pretend there was a general consensus that Ryder would be suspended at the time we had that argument, which there most assuredly was not.

Yep, but I didn't know who specifically so was only referring to myself.I think that was the position of about 95% of us.
