This Saturday we front up against the Hawks in Launceston. In what shapes as a fairly meaningless game in terms of making the NAB Cup Grand Final it will be interesting to see just how the 2 sides tackle the game. Hardwick has already said that we will be fielding a fairly strong line up with the best 22 players who missed the Bombers game likely to come in. At the same time I expect a few who played the Bombers to be given the weekend off. As for the Hawks, it's likely they will ramp things up against us with only 2 more of these games to go before round 1. The Hawks will be keen to get some more game time into their stars who missed last week so expect them to also field a fairly strong line up.

What To Expect:
Richmond
So far this preseason we have shown pretty good form easily accounting for the Demons, just getting pipped by the Roos when we rested a number of key players late and then getting over the Bombers last week with effectively our second string lineup on the park. This week we bring back a few of our prime movers as we look to find a settled line up before round 1 against the Blues. Once again we're not going with our full strength line up but rather a mixture of experience and kids. Chaplin and Lonergan are slated to get a run for a half this week providing they get through training unscathed. The inclusion of Lonergan along with Pettard and Stephenson should give a bit more of an idea as to who is leading the race for rookie promotion.
Hawthorn
Given the Hawks are 0-3 so far this NAB Cup, I expect they will want to get a win on the board if possible. The more important thing for them though is getting miles into the legs of their stars who have looked short of a gallop so far. This week expect them to wheel out the likes of Ellis Burgoyne Birchall Lake and Shiels as they look to ramp up their preparations for round 1.
Prediction
Although the Hawks will be keen for a win, I reckon we may just have them covered this time around. Last time we played them down there was Hardwicks first game in charge and we got flogged by heaps. This time around I expect a much closer game and it should prove ideal for us to continue with our training for close finishes. The more important thing for both sides though is to get through without injury or suspension(Buddy has been close a couple of times so far). In the end though I reckon we'll get up by 2-3 goals.
